We only collect what we need to train you well, we protect it, and we never sell your information.

Blauer Tactical Systems, Inc. — last updated August 2026.

1. Background

Blauer Tactical Systems understands that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your information is used and shared online. We respect and value the privacy of everyone who visits our site, and we only collect and use information in ways that are useful to you and consistent with your rights and our obligations under the law. This policy applies to our use of any and all data collected in relation to your use of our site. Your acceptance of this policy is deemed to occur upon your first use of the site. If you do not accept it, please stop using the site.

2. Information about us

This site is owned and operated by Blauer Tactical Systems, Inc. Our data protection officer is Tony Blauer, who can be contacted at tony@blauertactical.com.

3. Scope — what does this policy cover?

This policy applies only to your use of this site. It does not extend to websites linked from this site — including our stores, course platforms, and registration pages hosted by third parties. We have no control over how data is collected, stored, or used by other websites, and we advise you to review their privacy policies before providing data to them.

4. What data do we collect?

Some data is collected automatically (see the cookie section below). Other data is collected only if you voluntarily submit it. Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Organization, role, and location (when you request hosting or agency training)
  • Anything else you choose to include in a form or message

Payments for courses, apparel, and equipment are processed by our third-party commerce providers. We do not collect or store your full payment card details.

5. How do we use your data?

We use your data to provide the best possible service to you. This includes:

  • Supplying our services, courses, and products to you
  • Responding to communications from you
  • Sending newsletters and content you asked for
  • Market research
  • Analyzing site usage through third-party analytics so we can continually improve the site and your experience

In some cases the collection of data is a contractual requirement, and we will be limited in the services we can provide without it. With your permission, and where permitted by law, we may also contact you with news and offers about our training. We do not send unsolicited marketing or spam, and we do not sell your personal information.

6. Lawful basis for processing

We process your personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently. We only process personal data where at least one of the following applies: you have given consent for one or more specific purposes; processing is necessary to perform a contract with you or take steps at your request before entering one; processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation; processing is necessary to protect vital interests; processing is necessary for a task in the public interest; or processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, except where those interests are overridden by your fundamental rights and freedoms.

7. How and where we store your data

We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, and/or for as long as we have your permission to keep it. We conduct an annual review to determine whether data still needs to be retained, and delete it when it is no longer needed. Data is stored securely with our service providers, which may process and store data in the United States and other countries. We maintain suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard the data we collect. Transmission of data over the internet is never completely secure, so please take suitable precautions when sending information to us.

8. Do we share your data?

We contract with third parties who supply services on our behalf, including payment processing, order fulfillment, course delivery, email and CRM, hosting, and analytics. Where any of your data is required for those purposes, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled safely, securely, and in accordance with your rights and the law. We currently work with providers including:

  • Shopify — store and order processing
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Squarespace — legacy store and content pages
  • Thinkific — online course delivery
  • GoHighLevel — forms, email, and CRM
  • Google Analytics and advertising pixels — traffic measurement

We may compile anonymized statistics about site usage, traffic, and sales and share them with partners, affiliates, or advertisers. Such data never includes personally identifying information. In certain circumstances we may be legally required to share data — for example in legal proceedings or in response to a court order or governmental authority.

9. If our business changes hands

We may expand or reduce our business, which could involve the sale or transfer of control of all or part of it. Where user data is relevant to a transferred part of the business, it may be transferred with it, and the new owner may use it for the purposes for which it was originally collected. If your data is to be transferred in this way, you will be contacted in advance and given the choice to have your data deleted or withheld from the new owner.

10. How can you control your data?

When you submit information through the site you may be given options to restrict our use of it. You can opt out of our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message. You may also register with preference services that help reduce unsolicited marketing, such as the Telephone Preference Service and the Mailing Preference Service — note these will not stop communications you have consented to receive.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to request its deletion, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email tony@blauertactical.com. Please make your request as clear as possible so we can respond accurately.

12. Cookies

Our site and our third-party providers use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep your cart and session working, and measure traffic. Analytics and advertising cookies help us understand how the site is used and improve it. You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not function as intended if you do.

13. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Youth training programs are arranged through a parent or guardian.

14. Changes to this policy

We may change this policy as we deem necessary from time to time, or as required by law. Any changes are posted on this page immediately, and your continued use of the site after they are posted means you accept them. We recommend checking this page periodically.

Accessibility Statement

Committed to access for everyone

Our commitment

We teach that safety is for everyone, and that includes how you use this site. Blauer Tactical Systems, Inc. is committed to digital accessibility, so people who navigate by keyboard, screen reader, magnification, captions, or reduced motion can reach the same training, courses, and information as anyone else.

The standard we build to

We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA: meaningful text alternatives for images, sufficient color contrast, visible focus states, keyboard-operable navigation, and content that respects a reduced-motion preference.

Third-party content

Some pages embed tools we do not control — registration forms, video players, checkout, and calendar widgets. We choose accessible providers where we can, and if an embedded tool blocks you, contact us and we will complete the task with you directly.

An ongoing effort

Accessibility is training, not a certificate. Parts of the site may not yet fully meet our own standard. We review pages as we publish and update them, and we treat every report as a priority fix rather than a suggestion.

Run into a barrier? Tell us.

If any part of this site is hard to access, or you need information in another format — large print, plain text, or a phone walkthrough — email info@blauertactical.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will respond promptly and get you what you need in the meantime.
